Vicki Patillo has done concerning the brain. In the last 20 years,
neuroscientists and researchers have learned so much more about our
brain because of the new technology available.Vicki will share some of
the interesting facts she has learned and compare them to what the Bible
tells us about how to renew our mind.
She will expose some of the new age beliefswhich claim to be based on
science - but are not. Vicki will give some practical suggestions about
how diet, nutrition and exercise affect the brain. She will also

Because so many people ask about an alternative way to take Elijah House other than the weekly classes we have a new idea.... We will cover the first 12 lessons of Basic I over a weekend. This is also an excellent opportunity to receive additional teaching and ministry if you have already taken the classes or missed a lot of the first 12 lessons. When: JANUARY 16 - 17 (FRI-SAT) Sorry, this retreat is full. Beginning Friday, 5PM Ending Saturday, 5PM Where: Tender Mercies Retreat House The Conditions Are: You order a workbook in advance if you can from www.elijahhouse.org or call 509-321-1250. It is approximately $55 with shipping. The workbook is helpful, but not necessary. However, you must get the first 12 CD's in advance so that you can study the lessons. You can order those from me for $40 (this is at a discount price and are yours to keep).
